Not only can you find a summary of candidates by race that are community-specific, but many of the candidates have posted credentials (education, professional work, public office experience, etc.) ; AND, some are showing their endorsements—which helped me fill out my ballot. Just click on the candidate to expand information view.
This tool has many offerings and is very robust (not just CA, but national; you guys probably knew of them already).
