TAKE ACTION NOW!
CBS announced that it is cancelling "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" — just days after Stephen Colbert criticized on air the recent settlement between President Donald Trump and Paramount Global, CBS’s parent company, calling it a "big, fat bribe."
Colbert’s show, which he has hosted for 10 years, is the top-rated late-night show on air. The chilling effect became even clearer when Colbert announced that CBS has no plans to replace him.
Numerous organizations are gathering signatures to demand that CBS reverse its decision and grow a backbone! Please join in this protest!
HELP STOP THE MADNESS!
The gold squares are the BLM lands in our area considered for sell off by our current administration. You can click on the map to see all the land in the 11 Western states impacted by the proposed sell off.
Here’s a message from Friends of the Desert Mountains:
The US Senate wants to force the arbitrary sale of 2-3 million acres of Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management lands in 11 Western states over the next five years at the expense of public lands and natural resources we work so hard to protect. This is not a partisan issue — it’s about open lands that belong to all Americans. This proposal will have to come back to Congress for a vote, and 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙫𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚, 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤 𝙞𝙩, 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘!

STOP ICE'S "EASY PICKINGS"
Jose and Josue Trejo Lopez were quietly put on a plane to El Salvador on May 7 — two days earlier than ICE had promised, and before a judge could review new evidence in their case. The 19 and 20 year-old brothers, who have lived in the U.S. since childhood and have no criminal record, were denied due process protections and subjected to inhumane treatment while in custody.
If you believe their removal should be reversed, and that they deserve a fair hearing, add your name to the petition.
MAGA's Project 2025 isn’t just a plan anymore – it’s here. Whether by dismantling government agencies, trampling reproductive rights, or attacking public education, the Trump administration is following the extremist playbook step-by-step.
The first step is educating ourselves on what they are doing, which is why Red Wine & Blue created the Reality of Project 2025 website – which not only explains how extremists are implementing the extremist plan, but what we can do to stop it.
Get started! Click here to check out the Reality of Project 2025 Tracker and help spread the word.

Rep. Raul Ruiz hosted a town hall at Rancho Mirage High School on Saturday. His special guests included House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Rep. Teresa Ledger Fernandez, NM CD3 (also Chair of the Democratic Women Caucus), and Rep. Nanette Baragan, the first Latina to represent California’s 44th District.
This was the first stop on their National Town Hall Tour. Leader Jeffries encouraged those in the audience to share their stories with House Democrats so they can share them with others.
He also shared these inspiring words from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr:
"Press on and keep pressing. If you can’t fly, run; if you can’t run, walk; if you can’t walk— CRAWL. At all times, PRESS ON and KEEP PRESSING."
If you or someone you know has lost their job, lost or is about to lose their business, lost the services that assured them a fighting chance to survive and/or thrive, or has been otherwise harmed by the damage being done to our country, both here and abroad, Click here to share your story.
2026 Election
Roughly 67% of the families in CA‑22 rely on Medicaid. Rep. Valadao made a promise to them. Just a few days ago, he broke it by voting to strip healthcare from millions of Californians — thousands of them in his own district.
In April, Rep. David Valadao, along with eleven other “vulnerable” Republican representatives, signed a letter addressed to House GOP leaders that stated in part
“Cuts to Medicaid also threaten the viability of hospitals, nursing homes, and safety-net providers nationwide. Many hospitals—particularly in rural and underserved areas—rely heavily on Medicaid funding, with some receiving over half their revenue from the program alone. Providers in these areas are especially at risk of closure, with many unable to recover. When hospitals close, it affects all constituents, regardless of healthcare coverage.”
“To strengthen Medicaid, we urge you to prioritize care for our nation’s most vulnerable populations. Our constituents are asking for changes to the healthcare system that will strengthen the healthcare workforce, offer low-income, working-class families expanded opportunities to save for medical expenses, support rural and underserved communities, and help new mothers.”
“We cannot and will not support a final reconciliation bill that includes any reduction in Medicaid coverage for vulnerable populations.”
They all lied. Reminder: The bill passed by a vote of 218-214.
All twelve deserve to be voted out of office. These four will be running for reelection in 2026 in districts that President Biden won in 2020 -
Juan Ciscomani - AZ-6
David Valadao - CA-22
Young Kim - CA-40
Jen Kiggans - VA-2
Letters also went out AFTER the vote, demanding no cuts to Medicaid. One such letter was sent out by Mike Lawler (NY-17), who voted for the bill, and 15 of his “moderate” colleagues in the Republican Conference. Lawler is also looking at an election in 2026 in a district won by President Biden.
